Dec 1 – Frontline people know best!

In Lean we believe the frontline people know how things work. We think they are the ones that know what is best. Pay attention and listen to what they have to say!

In Lean we believe frontline people are not just a set of hands, that by accident comes with a brain. No, we think they are a brain that happens to have a set of hands. We think they are the professionals that do their best in the system they operate in.

To tap into this knowledge and brainpower, you should help them to see. Help them see what success is. Help them see how things really are. Challenge them to strive for success. Give them time and space to take the next step.

Every day!

This is my Lean/Agile Advent Calendar. I will publish a short post on a Lean/Agile topic every day up until Christmas. I will based each days topic on what is behind the door in the LEGO® City Advent Calendar.  So be sure to check back every day!

Correct English would be, either “A frontline person knows best” or “Frontline people know best”.
